LZH Butchers, we’re proud to be a family-owned and operated butcher shop in Cairns, built on passion, purpose and community. The name LZH represents Laura, Zach and Hannah — the children who inspire everything we do. We opened our first store in Smithfield in 2018, followed by our second in DFO Cairns in 2019, with the goal of bringing you exceptional meat and personalised service.
Owner Glen Norton entered the butchery industry after 16 years in the Australian Army and six more working security in the Middle East. It was during his mature-age apprenticeship in Derby, WA that he discovered a true love for serving the local community through quality meat. That same commitment continues today, as we hand-select every product to meet your expectations.
We source all our meat locally, ensuring every cut is fresh and full of flavour.
